{"id":2135,"date":"2019-04-17T17:07:49","date_gmt":"2019-04-17T15:07:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/progresscommunications.eu\/?p=2135"},"modified":"2023-09-29T08:58:00","modified_gmt":"2023-09-29T06:58:00","slug":"stagiair-bij-progress-communications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/progresscommunications.eu\/nl\/bloggen\/stagiair-bij-progress-communications\/","title":{"rendered":"Het leven als stagiair bij Progress Communications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mijn naam is Jesse van Langelaar en ik zit in mijn examenjaar van de opleiding Marketing Communicatie &amp; Evenementenorganisatie op het Johan Cruyff College te Amsterdam.<\/p>\n<p>Ik ben een sportieve, nieuwsgierige, soms een beetje eigenwijze en rechtvaardige jongen die zich graag bezighoudt met communicatie. In mijn examenjaar kreeg ik de mogelijkheid een half jaar stage te lopen bij Progress Communications. Een leuk, allround communicatie-adviesbureau waar ik ontzettend veel heb geleerd.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Hoe het begon<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In het begin was het erg zoeken voor mij. Ik kwam in een nieuw team terecht, en kreeg taken toegewezen waar ik nog niet bekend mee was. Daarnaast was het een flinke omschakeling van vier schooldagen van maximaal vijf uur, naar een fulltime stage waar ik echt aan de bak moest. Maar hoe langer ik bij Progress werkte, hoe leuker ik het begon te vinden. Ik leerde mijn collega\u2019s en het bedrijf steeds beter kennen en kreeg leuke opdrachten. Zo maakte ik een samenvatting voor Boeing, werkte ik mee aan het Xiaomi Benelux Launch Event en hielp ik mee aan omschrijvingen van awards inzendingen!<\/p>\n<p>Er is \u00e9\u00e9n opdracht die er echt uitsprong: ik mocht een intern event organiseren.\u00a0 De LVT Group \u00ad\u2013 \u00a0waar Progress deel van uitmaakt \u2013 organiseert ieder kwartaal een bedrijfsborrel: Q-Drinks. De idee achter Q-Drinks is elkaar beter te leren kennen, kennis te delen en elkaar beter weten te vinden op werkgebied. Dit wordt in de praktijk gebracht door een activiteit of thema. Ditmaal was het mijn beurt om Q-Drinks te organiseren en een thema en activiteit te verzinnen. Leuk!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>De toren van Pisa eh\u2026 Pizza!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Na veel voorbereidingen was het op 9 april eindelijk zover: Q-Drinks kon van start gaan! Het was \u00a0best spannend aangezien meer dan 55 collega\u2019s zich hadden ingeschreven. De activiteit voor Q-drinks bedacht ik zelf: een creatieve versie van Jenga (je kent het wel, die toren van houten blokjes die steeds meer gaat wankelen en je ontzettend laat zweten..) In totaal hadden we vijftien torens. Een Jenga-toren bestaat uit 54 blokjes, ieder blokje was genummerd en ieder nummer had een bijbehorende vraag of opdracht: hoe kwam je er achter dat sinterklaas niet echt bestaat? Heb je ooit zonder benzine gestaan? Waar loop je tijdens werk tegenaan?<\/p>\n<p>We speelden in groepen van vier en wisselden om de vijf minuten van groep. Het was een leuke manier om in gesprek te komen met collega\u2019s die je nog niet zo goed kent, niet vaak hebt gesproken of zelfs nog nooit hebt gezien. Nadat we ongeveer een half uurtje Jenga hadden gespeeld, werden de pizza\u2019s bezorgd (vandaar de naam: De toren van Pizza!). We hebben gesmuld van de pizza\u2019s en genoten van de drankjes. Het was een geslaagde avond; we hebben elkaar beter leren kennen, erg gelachen, lekker gegeten en veel plezier gehad.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Einde\u2026 Op naar een volgend hoofdstuk<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Mijn moeder las mij vroeger altijd boeken voor, en als we weer een hoofdstuk uit hadden gelezen zei ze altijd: \u201cEn toen kwam er een olifant met een hele lange snuit.. En die blies zo het verhaaltje uit\u201d. En zo voelt het nu ook een beetje voor mij. Mijn stage is ineens voorbij. De laatste paar weken gingen ontzettend snel! Ik ga mijn gezellige collega\u2019s, de leuke gesprekken en de lekkere thee zeker weten missen. Tijdens mijn stage heb ik veel geleerd, nieuwe mensen leren kennen en ervaring opgedaan in het echte bedrijfsleven.<\/p>\n<p>Tot slot wil ik graag al mijn collega\u2019s van Progress, maar ook die van de LVT Group, ontzettend bedanken voor de prettige samenwerking.\u00a0 Stella Jansen en Mireen van Limpt in het bijzonder.
