Xiaomi is de vierde grootste smartphonefabrikant van de wereld, maar in de Benelux voor velen nog onbekend. Niet gek ook, want in maart 2019 werd het merk hier pas officieel ge\u00efntroduceerd. Daar heeft Progress Communications hen bij ondersteund. Uiteraard hebben wij dit niet alleen gedaan: hiervoor hadden wij de hulp van onze collega\u2019s binnen de LVT Group hard nodig.<\/p>\n

Voor wie het nog niet weet, de LVT Group is een full-service Benelux communicatiebureau met verschillende labels (Progress Communications<\/a>, Contentbureau<\/a>, SjansenDesign<\/a>, Eventive<\/a> en LVTPR<\/a>). Samen bieden wij vrijwel alle communicatiedisciplines aan om bedrijfsdoelstellingen te bereiken.<\/p>\n

Tekpoint, distributiepartner van Xiaomi, klopte bij Progress Communications aan met hun communicatievraagstuk: het lanceren van hun merk in de Benelux door middel van een event. Het mooie is dat we zo\u2019n event volledig binnen de groep kunnen realiseren; van het samenstellen van een perslijst<\/a> en het schrijven van de uitnodiging, tot ontwikkeling van het concept en de volledige uitwerking van het event.<\/p>\n

De teksten werden geschreven door onze collega\u2019s van Contentbureau<\/a>, en verder werkten we voor dit project veel samen met onze collega\u2019s van Eventive<\/a>. Wij delen samen een kantoor in Amsterdam, wat de lijntjes kort maakt. Vanuit dit kantoor als epicentrum, haakten we ook onze collega\u2019s uit Antwerpen aan om de Benelux-lancering te realiseren en soepel te laten verlopen.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

De vele voordelen van een nauwe samenwerking <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Wie Xiaomi kent, denkt voornamelijk aan hun smartphones, maar het bedrijf maakt nog veel meer producten. Van een laserprojector en slimme lampen, tot smartwatches en zelfs een elektrische step. De mogelijkheden op het event waren daarom ook eindeloos en dat maakt het uitdagend. Want zo\u2019n event moet wel passen bij het merk.<\/p>\n

Daarnaast wilde de klant graag een ruime selectie en variatie aan gasten op het event. \"\"<\/a>Zowel tech- als lifestyle journalisten, maar ook influencers en partners. Omdat het doel van het event was om zoveel mogelijk media-aandacht te genereren, moest het voor iedereen interessant zijn \u2013 zo interessant, dat ze er maar al te graag een artikel over willen schrijven of het meenemen in een vlog.<\/p>\n

Als PR-bureau kennen wij de doelgroepen<\/a> van het Xiaomi- event, en weten we precies wat ze op zo\u2019n event willen zien. Een tech-journalist wil graag genoeg mogelijkheden hebben om producten te testen, een influencer denkt weer aan engaging content die veel interactie oplevert. Op basis van deze kennis<\/a> \u00e9n de expertise van Eventive, brainstormden we over alle elementen; welke ervaring bieden we de bezoekers? Welke producten moeten op het event komen? Waar plaats je die producten? Wat organiseren we voor de influencers? En ga zo maar door.<\/p>\n

Het is heel mooi dat we voor zulke kwesties onze expertises kunnen samenbrengen en we voor overleg letterlijk slechts enkele voetstappen van elkaar verwijderd zijn. En zo\u2019n nauwe samenwerking is niet alleen voor de klant ideaal, maar ook voor ons als medewerkers ontzettend leuk. Want door de intieme samenwerking leer je veel over andere communicatievakgebieden, zodat je de beste interdisciplinaire oplossingen voor je klanten kunt bedenken.<\/p>\n

Het resultaat<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Het organiseren van het Xiaomi-event was al een feestje \u2013 en het event zelf des te meer. Donderdag 28 maart 2019 was het zover en zagen we al onze idee\u00ebn werkelijkheid worden. De lancering was een groot succes. Alle grote media uit Nederland en Belgi\u00eb waren aanwezig en met hen vele influencers. Na een presentatie van Xiaomi konden de genodigden zich uitleven op verschillende producten. Zo zagen bezoekers in de smart-livingroom wat de producten toevoegen in het \u2018echte leven\u2019 , en konden ze het innerlijke kind in zichzelf loslaten bij de steprace.<\/p>\n

Wat betreft persaanwezigheid zaten we uiteindelijk zelfs met 28 procent over ons target. Zowel de klant als de pers waren enthousiast en de lancering werd volop benoemd in de media. Ons doel was bereikt. Dat noemt men nog eens een succesvolle samenwerking!<\/p>\n
