Movie Magic
Highlighting the outstanding camera capabilities of the Xiaomi Mi 11, we chose to collaborate with local actress and director, Halina Reijn to create Movie Magic. Halina was asked to create her first-ever short film fully shot with the Mi 11. Creating an engaging build-up – across owned, paid, and shared – to the grand (streamed) première of her short film ‘For the Birds’ led to even more buzz and the campaign outperforming all KPI’s.

‘For the Birds’ was streamed from the Amsterdam EYE film museum (incl. a live Q&A with Halina) for all key audiences.

Brand awareness increased by 10.6%; Xiaomi #1 in Google Realtime Search on launch day; 435 articles with a reach of 282 million and 200 event registrations incl. 73 media.

We are also the proud winners of the B2C Creative Award from GCPR and were shortlisted for the European Excellence Awards with this campaign.
