We take care of everything from the press invitation, media lobby and accreditation to accompanying the press on the day itself. Because it can get pretty busy in the press section around the coin striking machine with all those photographers and rolling cameras – particularly if the First Strike is performed by a VIP such as the Queen or Prince Willem-Alexander. Afterwards, we facilitate interviews with the minister and Master of the Mint Maarten Brouwer and send out a press release with photos. We also regularly compile video press releases ourselves, which are often picked up by the websites of the daily newspapers, for example around the launch of the ‘Painting’ and ‘Tulip’ five euro commemorative coins.
