If I say “banana phone”, you think… Exactly! Mobile World Congress 2018, the place where the mobile magic happens. MWC is the largest exhibition for mobile networking, smartphones and tablets and, as every year, it took place in beautiful Barcelona. I had the pleasure of representing Progress Communications. For three days, I made my way to every corner of the exhibition, immersing myself in the latest developments between meetings with journalists and clients. From the build-up to 5G and the latest retro smartphones to a handful of machine learning and AI demos, it was another wonderful mix of innovation and gimmicks.
