Karlijn Stoelinga started as Senior PR Consultant and Fay Hemelrijk as Marcom & PR Consultant. Their arrival increases the firm’s strength and quality, as well as the level of knowledge in the field of online marketing, effective communication and knowledge of various themes such as ESG, CSRD and measuring and making an impact.

Karlijn Stoelinga brings a wealth of experience in the field of strategic and sustainable PR & communication and a media network in the field of ESG, CSRD, Sustainability and DEI. She has alternating experience on the client and agency side, so she knows both worlds well. For example, Karlijn learned the PR trade at Pride PR, a former PR agency, specialized in tech PR, she worked as a freelance PR consultant for over 8 years and she has worked as a corporate communication advisor at the head office of Olympia Employment Agency for the last four years.

Fay Hemelrijk has a strong background in marketing communication as an online marketer, affiliate marketing specialist and creative account manager at AH Studio for APS Group where she was responsible for managing the creative process for various content expressions of Albert Heijn. She coordinated projects, monitored schedules, and coordinated with various stakeholders. With her approach and eye for detail, she knows how to switch efficiently between creation and execution to achieve strong communication campaigns.

The expansion of the team comes at a good time: Senior Marcom and PR consultant Tessa Bron, a familiar face within Progress for many years, will soon leave for a world trip on a motorcycle. During her adventure, she will remain associated with the agency as a part-time consultant.

Stella Jansen, Managing Director van Progress Communications:
“We are proud of the further strengthening of our team. The appointment of Karlijn and Fay underlines our ambition to continue to serve our customers at a high level, and at the same time we want to take the best possible care of our colleagues and, for example, facilitate a sabbatical or hybrid working. We are not only growing in people, but also in expertise: our digital marketing proposition is catching on, and we were proud to have recently been named one of the Top 50 agencies in Continental Europe by PRovoke. That, together with the award-winning campaigns we have set up over the past year, confirms that we are on the right track.”

Great Place to Work Certification
In 2024, Progress Communications obtained the Great Place to Work certification, with a score of 88 out of 100. This achievement confirms the positive corporate culture and strong team spirit that characterizes the agency. In 2025, Progress was named Top 50 Best Agency Continental Europe by PRovoke.
